ENGLISH LANGUAGE INFORMATION

The Chemin de Fer Touristique du Vermandois at Saint Quentin (just off the A26 in Picardy) now has its 0-6-0 tank engine 030T3 (Fives Lille 4828 of 1933) in service. The 2-8-0 140C314 (North British 21651 of 1917) is still under repair at the depot south of the SNCF station while the smoke deflectors of 4-6-0 230G352 (Batignolles 2090 of 1923 have been retrieve from Richelieu).

Services are in the hands of 030T3 and Diesel electric C61041, these consisting mainly of Sunday trains from Saint Quentin to Origny, usually with the option of lunch in the Wagon Lits restaurant car.

Services are currently planned for various Sundays in July, August and the remainder of the year.
